Welcome to our website. We are Marian’s Candles N Crafts. We specialize in massage oil candles and handmade crafts. We are also partnered with Missy’s Wooden Roses and have wooden roses available also through our setup at Second Street Market and through our home.
We started our adventures thanks to the friendship and partnership with Ken & Melinda Clayton. The Clayton’s, owners of Missy’s Wooden Roses and Clayton Screen Printing, agreed to allow us to partner with them in the selling of wooden roses in October 2007. Marian and I had never actually thought of starting a business until after one of our first festivals that we participated in, Minster’s Oktoberfest, which was somewhat successful for us. After the Minster festival we were approached by the owner of Victory Candles to sell their products. After some thought we felt that it might be a good idea to try this. The candles are an all natural massage oil candle with no wax or paraffin’s. We felt that we could reasonably sell them in compliment with the roses. Soon after Minster we started at Dayton’s Second street Market. The Market has given us many opportunities that we would probably never have had. We have met many people and made many friends. After the 2007 Holiday season we have come up with some new items of crafts for us to sell.
We will have in our online store all of the sizes and types of candle that we have to offer. We will also have a good sampling of the crafts that we make and a few pictures of the plaques that we have available for the sports teams.
We ask that you browse, select and pay for anything on line with PayPal and for you convenience pick up at the Market or make other arrangements with us for pickup. We can, if you so desire, ship anything to you but at the moment we require a minimum $9.00 shipping and handling fee.
We will do everything in our power to make your experience of purchasing from us as pleasant as possible. Without our customers we would not be in business. Please enjoy your shopping experience.
